Settings: High starting money/Medium-high total money. Friendly fire on. Normal Resources. No treasures.
Map - Inside Out.
Factions - Sysx Rix, Element IC

Element starts out with enh cons, a miner and a tp. Push tp left and Plant Supremacy left. Sysx pushes tp and op con right and plants, then pushes expansion to bottom right.
Element pushes tp top left, Sysx plants outpost top right. Element plants home tp.

Miner O from both sides begins. A tempo play of ripping IC miners slows down rix interceptors. Sysx Buys bombers and bombs the top left tp, but gets stopped short 1k of Element Sup.

IC ripping miners are bringing home money, meanwhile element scores a few miner kills. Sysx keeps the pressure on by bombing our tp's and threatening the sup.

Galvs come online - Rix small bases are cleared. Only rix garrison and expansion are left.

Sysx pushes a tac to middle. Element stops it.

Sysx builds home tac & assaults mine middle. Element forms and kills the miner.

Element rainbow techs with expansion and tac, and begins taking the map with tps. All rix miners dead.

In a surprise turn of events - Sysx bombs their own tac, expansion and finally their garrison.

Good game sysx, looking forward to a rematch.

I always thought it was agreed on that the team with the better turnout gets to play up 1 player. This is the second time that elem has not wanted to do this. Can we bring this rule back so that more players can play their game they've been looking forward to instead of sitting out?

Situation was weird. At time of launch, teams were even, except for a Ryu sporting an old xexy tag. P1 formally disbanded Xexy in October, making Ryu a merc, as he was not tagged. When another Elem showed up, Ryu got the merc nod, but now that you are flying mercs, you would have to boot Ryu first, before enforcing your attendance bonus.

The situation wasn't that weird. The situation was this:

Ryu showed up in his Xexy tag and asked to play. At the time, Rock was complaining that his internet wasn't working. I was leaning "no," and then Thallium was like "SysX forfeits if Ryu flies." So then Ryu asked if we were taking observers. I said again, I have no idea, but I'm down to take observers if Thall is down to take observers. Thall said "sure whatever."

Then at some point during the game Thall apparently told Ryu that it was ok to fly? And Thall refused everyone who wanted to observer, unbeknownst to me. I had assumed he was taking observers so I took a second. Then I saw the all chat where he wasn't taking any observers and didn't feel it right to boot people. So I was "up one" with the observer. Then a little while later, Vortrog showed up (in his element tag) and Thall spent about five minutes refusing Vortrog a spot on the Element roster, forcing Rock to continue sitting in lobby.

Frankly it is exactly the level of sportsmanship I expect from someone who thought that Fedman would be a good addition to his squad.

GG to the rest of element, you guys took the strategy I wanted to do and executed it perfectly. If it weren't for Thall's incessant complaining about god knows what and the gigantic rod up his ass it would've been a fun time. Makes me just want to keep playing XT even if we get stomped by them week after week: at least they don't whine when someone wants to watch or a merc flies.
