I don't like the default monitor resolutions so I would always customize mine using REGEDIT and this:
http://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.ph...reen_monitor%3F

Can't find these in the STEAM release.

Ditto, but I've been too lazy to ask.

The registry path was changed to

Code: Select all

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\1.4
That should still work. Only CombatFullscreenXSize/CombatFullscreenYSize are in use for in-game resolution.

What resolution are you trying to play with?

O.K. 1920 x 1080 look doable but I have the following comments:
1) I switch high-res textures "on" but when restarting they do not appear. Do these still have to be downloaded and put in the artwork folder? I thought the Steam version was going to include these.
Perhaps they are a DLC?
2) I had some discussions here: index...showtopic=71961 but can squint at higher resolutions. I would still like thin gauge but will get from paps
3) GREAT job by the DEV team to include the CORT Hud options in the game.

Great job on Steam Release!

Hi Fishbone,

I just checked and the Thin Gauge link is still good.
Scroll about halfway down the page and look for the post by DR_

No, no DLC on Steam yet.
I'm supposed to be working on it but I'm not efficient and there are lots of tasks as well as RL.

I have a texture package I can link you later.

High res textures are now default if you are using the beta next release.

Just got it working. Thanks for putting up with me, Paps!
