Blast from the past
I'm absolutely blown away. I used to be completely addicted to Allegiance and played under a few names back in the day (Bardok_Z/Saint). I must say I am impressed that there is still so many dedicated players still involved with the game. Kudos to all of you, for keeping the game alive. You may see me chasing yall down in an interceptor in the near future.

I'm of a similar boat. Haven't been on in a very long time. Played this game about 8 years ago when I was 12 or 13, now I'm 21
, time flies.
Maybe I'll play a game here or there, but my honest hope for this community is that a new game comes out with all the same features, or an Allegiance 2 straight from MS. One can only hope, you guys have the best community and I hope it never dies.

I dont think we need a new game, not even a version 2. I for one am totally satisfied with how it is right now, the only thing we need now is some PR. Also, maybe someone should remove the "this game takes a few weeks just to learn the basics" and "Veteran players are likely to get angry at you if you join a game as a newb" from various places in the wiki, as that really scares people away IMHO, and really isn't that accurate anymore.
Now im of to the Bay12forums to make words into actions. Seeing as there game (Dwarf Fortress) has an at least as steep learning curve as this one, I might find some new recruits!
