On Dec 25th I'm going to drop my keymap (WASD) into autoupdate, thus ending years of misery for new and old players alike. Merry Christmas.
If you don't want my keymap (to be disclosed later) then I suggest you save yours.
It's easy. In My Computer, go to your local disk drive, then program files or program files(86), wherever Allegiance is located in 'Microsoft Games', -> Allegiance 1.2 -> Production -> Artwork -> and then copy your inputmap1.mdl file to your desktop. After the update on Dec 25th, just move it back to the Artwork folder.
You got plenty of time to do this and I'll give more warnings with ACSS messages.

So the better way is to modify the installer, which is really a lot better, because we need a prompt explaining the training missions are now incorrect anyways. And it will make it so I'm not overriding all your maps.
