Yo there.
I want record some videos from alleg, maybe alleg2 if possible and.. I need No-HUD UI for recordings (the same like used on trailers) and knowledge how to open alleg in non-standard res (1280x720).
I can open it on 1280x1024 but i need this 720p to record it better.
Anyone can help me?

Don't know how to get rid of HUD, but you can set the resolution for alleg to whatever you want in the registry.
You find the current alleg registry at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Allegiance\1.2] (leave out the 6432Node part if you're not on 64 bit system)
I think the relevant keys are "CombatFullscreenXSize" and "CombatFullscreenYSize" for fullscreen.
Obviously any crashes you experience using a non-standard resolution are your own fault

It's not too dificult...
Changing the screen size may require you to create a custom resolution in Nvidia control panel or Catalyst Control Center (AMD graphics) so that your resolution is available to Allegiance or may be as easy as setting your desktop to be the resolution you want to film in. If you use Fraps, you may encounter crashes when changing resolutions or refresh rate...I recommend DxTory (google it) for filming.
To get rid of the HUD and film like you're using a free camera view...hit F9 (may be F10, can't remember) while in flight then use the arrow keys so that you're looking right up the butt of your ship (external view) then hit the minus key so that you zoom out until your ship is a single dot on your screen. Then you can fly around like a movie camera ....takes a little practice to get your camera to do what ya want. Remember to tell others not to kill you while you are filming.

dialog.mdl has a bunch of things at the bottom of the file specifying what to show and where. The first 90% or so of file sets up those things, but you can stop them from displaying by commenting out the relevant lines from that big 'dialogs = []' list at the bottom. mdl comments are the same as C comments; ie //for a single line and /*for everything in between.*/
It requires dialogs to be defined, so you need to keep the 'dialogs = []' bit, but I think you could get rid of everything in the brackets if you wanted to.

I tried too but game crashed. I don't really know what i can or what i can't disable.
I also tried all F keys and they didn't satisfy me cuz i want record from standard pov, from ship. This is best way to make some action campaths.
Can you edit it for me? :/
PS. I use CortUI, is that big problem?

the simplest solution is:Hit 'H' to one of the custom huds. Change icons to off
Replace direction indicator and reticule with an empty texture
