Greetings Allegiance Community -
The revitalized squadrons will be in need of quality recruits with which to replenish their rosters. To this end, we are relaunching the Cadet training program.
I am overseeing this project and will manage the Cadet program with the help of others. Foundations are still being laid, and one of the intial tasks is to field a team of instructors that help with Cadet operations, as well as provide the training of new players.
Beyond in-game training, instructors may take upon duties such as:
Writing and editing training materialShare/discussing best training practicesManage general communication with CadetsGrading Cadet graduation tests
Requirements of a Cadet instructor:
Accurate knowledge of Allegiance gameplayPatient attitudeEnjoyment of teachingPlay regularly and engage in forum discussion
Do not be fooled, this is a commitment. The cadets will depend upon you both in the game and the forums, which will take both time and energy. Speaking as someone who has been a training instructor before, there are a lot of intrinsic rewards but pay is $0.
If you are interested in applying to be an instructor, please post below/PM and I'll follow up with you.
Thanks,
TA
Cadet Program Relaunch
I SHALL BE AN INSTRUCTOR.

So, whats expected of the cadet?
Sing O! Muse, the incompetence of shihab, that brought countless ills upon his teammates. Many a brave bomb run, it sent hurrying to pods; many a con did it leave prey to enemy int whores, for so were the councils of his commanders ignored, that the moment he entered in his ship, he flew circles...
To polish Vogue's boots.

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Not sure I can handle the in-game training stuff but if you want some help with the writing of the material, I'd love to throw my hat in the ring for that. Writing's something I'm not half bad at.
