Does anyone have documentation on allegiance map format?

Or alternatively, is source code to Allegiance Map Editor available anywhere?

Current problem with AME:
It uses 1.0 registry keys. It will not start if it doesn't find EXE Path and ArtPath.

Perfect, thanks! (Now I can just write my own Java map editor).

As I pmed Turkey previously, it seems that placing a custom rock in a sector crashes the server when you order a con to build on it. Basic asteroids also crash server (or client?) because they don't have "HP Gauge" by default in AME, when you enable it, they no longer crash until you send con to build.

A little bit on a different topic.

Does AME have a setting for >2 teams at all? I made a test map with 4 teams, but it still sees the map as 2 team only?

The number of teams it'll allow is set in maps.txt
