I figured I'd post this here too. For those of you who DON'T follow the CC forum, this is a spreadsheet comparing the economies of the various factions of Weedcore. The explanation is this:
If it takes 40 minutes to get to ADV tech (where ADV tech is a techbase, advancing the techbase, tier3 ships, and 3 tier2 GAs) as well as 2 OPs, 2 Refs, 1 TP, and 4 miners (OH gets 2 telerefs), how much does each faction need to mine if the settings are 1/1/standard?
Everyone's done by formula so you can copy the spreadsheet and fiddle around as much as you like. Or just ask me and I can show you. Whatever.

also if you're running your economy properly that 2 refs should be 0 refs
the only time you should use a ref is when you need to turtle in and mine a tech base sector as a faction without tech base miner unloading

The fun part is as I am not terribly incompetent and utterly useless, I used these funny things called "functions." So I can demonstrate exactly how $#@!ing stupid you are by simply deciding that sure, let's look at what happens when you buy 0 refs in 25 minutes!

it still shouldn't take you 40 minutes to get adv tech on 1/1
just because you can plug numbers into a google spreadsheet doesn't mean you know what the $#@! you're doing or that you're good at commanding

It's funny because in my haste to throw out the stupid changes for Viru I made a typo.
Anyways it's fixed now just pick a time, a number of OPs, a number of REFs, and a number of TPs you want to compare the faction at. Gonna update ze other one as well.

I see a flaw in your spreadsheet wrt gt. The tech base cost seems to factor a pali in them yet they build 2 ops on top of that anyway. The pali should count as an op in those calculations IMO making $$ required 53800 instead of 58800
