And figs with t1 tech aren't going to measure up to the ints at all. Ints were designed for ship to ship combat.

Ridiculous.... the fig will win 1v1. When the number of players exceed the amount where ints can be easily kited, it favors the ints....
Think 3 or more. And lets not get into the balance in favor of the ints over GUNSHIPS that are also in DM, that would be rendered obsolete by MG2.
Masta got raped flying an int in a DM. That does not make them broken, regardless of how much he thinks of himself. How they perform in 1v1 duels is an irrelevant point, DM should be balanced for group fights, as this is a team game. Ints have far superior mobility, and this perceived imbalance exists because a good fig pilot can rob them of that advantage, but only in nonteam fights, and even more, only defensively.
I suggest you test your proposed change in a 5v5 DM before implementing it, before blindly listening to the dude who believes women are inherently inferior to his manliness, and seems to have FAS.

switching from mp2 to mp1 is pointless, at first just give ints mini2 and counter 2.
