when are you on Allegiance?
So, if i get this right, i visit youre topics of training sessions and learn?
Am i correct?

yup. our online "classes" are made up of both reading material (pointing you to the right wiki document or we can just explain it here) and also hands-on training.
i've been doing weekly trainings but have been discouraged a bit of late because of lack of participation. perhaps you and the new batch of AFS applicants can change this and ask more questions and post more comments.

in these weekly trainings, i hold them on multiple days of the week so that everyone has a chance to get in. usually wednesday, thursday and friday.
if u ask nicely, ill even do it on monday / tuesday but usually i reserve these days to actually come up with some ideas on what to teach that week...

Also how do i control my ship with the mouse?
you said numlock on (and off) numpad 0 but when i try that nothing happens.

ah then your key for that function mustve been remapped to something else. the default is numpad 0. i need to log into the game and go into the keybindings to figure out which function you need to fix but im not at a computer w/ allegiance installed right now so ill update this post later when i get home. (or another instructor can chime in to help)

You can hit ESC G J to toggle the "virtual joystick" which will enable the mouse flight control.

we have successfully empowered ssshilent1 full dming capabilities with a mouse `4

it turned out we were using windowed mode -.- (thanks iron_wolf@bs)
