We are still running applications to join the "AFS squad" if people are interested.
The benefits include
Easier attention from Instructors - instructors know to look out for people with @AFS after their name, and help them in gameAbility to PM on the forums - normally you can't PM on the forums until you have 10 posts - joining AFS will get you this ability immediately
Inclusion on the AFS leaderboard
So - if you would like to join - please use this form, and an instructor will add you when they are ready.

I would like to join.
Im very active during local afternoon ( Brazil, São Paulo GMT -3 ) 3 pm to 8pm.
i got a bad ping in mach a decent ping in planet (rarely) and a good ping in slayer

THe AFS "squad" is a training squad for people to get an idea of how the game works etc.
Other squads are more like "Clans" in other online games.
If you want to move to another squad later - feel free to ask us to remove the @AFS from your callsign.

I apologise, but I sent a request form off at some point last week to join the @AFS Squad, and I have not yet received any communique from the squad. Shall I resubmit the form? It's probably been not sent, my internet was intermittent at best at that point, as I remember.
