I was working on a FS2 project but I dunno if I'll bother finishing it, so here's the nan I made for it.

Put that into your Artwork/Textures directory.
Also in Artwork/Textures, create a text file named f44bmp.mdl, containing the following:

Code: Select all

use "model";
f44bmp = ImportImageFromFile("Textures/f44.png", true);

Looks good, but I prefer my nan sprite to have better contrast. I use a red spite from Mesial's website.

Color changes are quick and easy, though the increased contrast makes it a little sharp in places.

Could someone with a working copy of mdlc check if a proper bmp.mdl doesn't have as much of a tearing problem as a png-based text mdl? I've got two copies, and one always crashes while the other insists it's not installed correctly.
