Free Allegiance Forums

I saw a couple posts where people talked about where they heard about Alleg for the first time, and thought it would be interesting to see where a lot of the community found it. For me, I was using the Mozilla app StumbleUpon when I got onto a list of free to play/ try online games. This was on there and I've been in love ever since. I'll post the link if I ever find it.

My brother installed it on my computer while I was asleep.

I missed old space style flight sims. Did a search, got this.

While playing Starsiege Tribes with a buddy (Shiggles) at his house in RL, he told to sign up for the Allegiance beta so I did.

Bored of playing MMORPG's searched for some FPS that wasnt counter strike.

I got homeworld because it could run on my super old computer, and because i never played it and really wanted to play a 3d rts in space. So after i beat it i took it online and there were 5 or 6 people on, after a few times one of them recommended i try allegiance. Instantly hooked

I am a cheap ass mother $#@!er, and quite poor.

I needed to find a free game that didn't suck. This was one of the choices. Best game I've pretty much ever played.

Got a bout of depression and was looking for something to do online. Searched for free mmo's and got to that site that lists a few games.

Got hooked on Anarchy Online from that site too.

Solzerid told me to try it.
Tried it.


Now you can't get rid of me.
