Anyone bother to tune in?

Everyone sucked but Newt Gingrich, but Ron Paul is always interesting.

Ron Paul was awesome as usual.

But second was Newt.

I love some of his ideologies, and I honestly think he would make a great President because everyone in congress would temper him. Like, one of his few policies I dislike would be to abolish the Fed... that is not viable, we need some form of interventionism.

But yeah, it would never happen. So hes A-OK in my book.

I would be for a Republican controlled Senate and House with Ron Paul as president...

...however... i would rather have Obama as president and Republican controlled Senate and House with any of the other Republican nominees.

Its bad to have one party rule... but i reckon Paul's more of a Libertarian than he is a neocon, so there would be enough head-butting that it would work out.

And the only part of the Fed that needs to remain is the FDIC and some of its more basic regulatory functions... but no reason that cant be moved into the SEC or some other branch of government.

Ron Paul is the opposite of a neo-con.

Hes anarcho-liberal.

no way! He is a conservative-leaning Libertarian.

some of his social stances precludes the anarcho-liberal tag.

Anti-abortion and anti-immigration mainly. Most Libertarians are for open borders, Paul is for closed borders.

Fair enough - and on these issues, I would vastly prefer that Ron Paul was more in tune with the libertarian party.

That's not his main topic.. it is the carrot to make the rabbits in the party follow to him.

But most important question: what happened to palin? Isn't she the self-proclaimed leader of the tea party movement?
