It is rare that I care for sculpture as an art form, but I think this thing on omaha beach is smashing. It really seems to capture the "feel" of the footage I have seen.

honestly about equal -- the last one has the rust factor for the sculpture is like knives :o

Reminds me of both the barricades and the newsreels with those big swooping arrows on them showing the invasion plans.

Someday I think it will be a good trip to go walk that beach and think of things gone by.

It is. I'd go on your own though, or with someone who "gets it"

Not as much impact when you're being nagged for an ice cream by a couple of kids :D
