2 range visits, 2nd visit had gusting wind accross the range
Some of you may find this interesting, particularly if you own one of the calibres. What I learnt is:
- Barrel length can be compensated for accuracy with barrel twist and velocity (the ruger had outstanding accuracy for a 20" ultralight barrel with the right load)
- Slower powder burn (ie AR2209 or say IMR 4320) does not assist smaller calibres with accuracy
- you cant predict what the accurate load will be so try em all
