No more messy hair while riding a bicycle. It's a collar shaped airbag helmet, you can cover it with a shawl or so.

nice and futuristic, but I doubt it has things like branch detection (I'm figuring it works on sudden changes in direction of g to detonate) - if your head is the first thing to crash it doesn't really work. It also seemed to be a bit too soft - watch around 4:30 in the first video as the front crumples allowing the dummy's face to properly plant into the ground

This is what I thought as well. The speeds tested were also pretty low. Does it deploy in time when you're doing 30 km/h instead of 16, and will it still be stiff enough? It's cool and all, but I trust my current helmet more.
