Horrible, he's mixing square inches with SI units there. Pretty good for the most part though.

If we're going to complain about content I noticed he kept using "area" when he meant "volume" which was annoying.

I should update that it is American Highschool style !!SCIENCE!!

That is what you get when your entire nation uses American traditional measurements but science class almost exclusively teaches in SI. A bizarre amalgamation which will fall quickly into disuse after they graduate (and leaves their knowledge of the actual relevant American traditional measurements lacking).

For instance, I can convert metric units with ease (cause its easy), but my knowledge of exactly what a Meter is is a bit lacking, although I have been working on it. However my ability to convert American units is almost non-existent, which sucks because that is what everyone uses.

So basically our schools don't prepare us for the real world.

My school taught me to always keep conversion tables around because after all they're just numbers, the only thing that matters is what you do with them.

I can communicate in English to roughly 330 million fellow Americans.

I can communicate in Latin to a handful of Americans.

Thus English > Latin.

Its all relative. If i wasn't in America then American traditional units wouldn't be terribly useful would they? What would you think if your countries schools taught Imperial units while everyone else in your country uses metric?

Do you use yards or is that just the english? If you do, then a meter is roughly one yard.
