While living in San Dego, CA I took this EXACT flight numerous times and on Mother's Day too. It appears to be a false alarm but it does put the whole grope your naughty bits in a bid for security in a kinder light for me

The "potential" threat was probably that a someone from Dearborn were on the plane and reached into a carry-on or got up to go to the bathroom or somesuch which made all of the Faux News watchers certain that the "skeery brown peoplez" were going to bomb the flight.

Wow see this is why I hate this state. Only way it appears in some column is for a bomb threat or a useless space port.

The reason they diverted the plane is they found a note in the bathroom with bomb in it. I'd be pissed if they didn't do this exact thing. Btw there where two flights that there was an incident that day.

I would like to point out that the TSA was completely unrelated to this particular security issue, so consider that when you're thinking about airline security.

Sounds to me like superior security would be a return of those guys in the bathroom who hand you a fresh towel when you're finished.

So how is Dearborn reacting to Osama's demise?
