Hi folks,
a new cadet course is about to start. If you feel ready for it you can apply here. You can use the test stickied above in this forum for a selfreview. I would love to see many of you proceeding to cadet.

I'm a bit confused, is this Cadet I oder Cadet II?
I've just rejoined AFS and I've had only 2 or 3 sessions that would qualify as "training". However, I've read the cadet course material on the wiki, completed 30+ games and got only two wrong answers on the quiz. Does that qualify me to apply for the cadet course?

I may not be perfect, but some parts of me are brilliant!
Well to answer your questions: There is no cadet I course anymore, it got replaced by AFS and Cadet now is the advanced learners course.Aquamarine wrote:QUOTE (Aquamarine @ Mar 3 2011, 07:15 PM) I'm a bit confused, is this Cadet I oder Cadet II?

I think you just match the requirements, but in the end it is up to you wether you apply. It's fine that you read the material. A bit more ingame experience would be good, but you can easily catch up by playing some games and you seem to be quite eager to learn more. If you don't apply now you will have to wait about 2 months for the next course, so if you have some time to fly, you better should take the cadet course now. You can find the application form here.
Just apply, pretty much everyone gets in. The material isn't particularly complicated, I don't think you'll have a problem trying anything you learn in-game.Aquamarine wrote:QUOTE (Aquamarine @ Mar 3 2011, 01:15 PM) I'm a bit confused, is this Cadet I oder Cadet II?
