Ok, guys, this time it's starting up, then going to the Allegiance screen, right? Then, at the bottom, I click 'Free games'. Then, the screen pops up that's supposed to have the credits or something, and where you can click the 'Curent games list' button. Well, I can't click the button, or the credits, and it makes no difference weather or not I'm on Beta mode, and I can't log in with Safe mode. Is there a specific time every day when Allegiance is down, like, before 9:00 or something? I'd like to know what times the game is up and dow, or weather it is 24/7 and I am just experiencing a problem everyone is having now. Sorry, but I don't know much about the game, and I am bound to get lots of problems like this...

You say you are supposed to see the scrolling Message of the Day - does this mean the box where it should appear is empty?

What Should happen
This is a step-by-step listing of what should be happening when you try to play Allegiance. You can use these step numbers to indicate where a problem occurs in the posting template found below this list.
1.You click the "Allegiance" shortcut on your desktop, or in your Start menu
2.ASGS opens up, and awaits your callsign and password.
3.You type in your callsign (and squad @TAG if you have one) and password.
4.You click "Sign in"
5.Allegiance opens up
6.You click "Free Games" at the bottom

If you are unable to see the scrolling MOTD, there are two possibilities.
1) Your firewall is blocking all Internet access to Allegiance.exe
2) Your Internet Explorer is set to Offline Mode.
For 1), you need to configure your firewall to add an exception to Allegiance.exe. You'll say that ASGS works, so Allegiance also should. But do note that they are both separate programs. When ASGS tries to access the Internet, your firewall may pop up a notification asking for your permission to allow it access. But if such a pop up shows for Allegiance when it tries to access, that dialog will be hidden as the game is running in fullscreen.
For 2), it's pretty self explanatory. Open up IE, untick Offline Mode.

Third possibility is, you run Alleg without admin rights.

Well, both these are pretty unlikely, for I have played Allegiance once before, and then I had a gazillion problems, so #1 is probably ruled out. ANd I'm on the internet right now, so it's not on offline mode, is it?
EDIT: Wait, I need to be an admin to play Allegiance?
EDIT 2: Also, before, I was an admin, then I could play, then I was not an admin, then I could still play, then I had a few problems, the I fixed them, then I shut down the computer. Would that make it realize that I'm not an admin, and not let me play any more?

Just to make absolutely sure there is nothing wrong with your IE settings (the Message of the Day screen uses it's networking settings):
1. Double check, that it's not in offline mode (File->Offline Mode should be unchecked; to bring up the pull-down menu bar, press Alt).
2. In network settings of IE (Tools->Internet Options) go to the Connections tab, then click Lan Settings button. Is there anything checked there? Is there a proxy server defined?
If you are playing from under an Administrator account, follow these steps to ensure, that Allegiance is run as Administrator:
1. Right click the blue Allegiance icon on your desktop, select Properties.
2. In the Properties window, go to the Shortcut tab.
3. Click the Advanced button (rightmost at the bottom).
4. In the window that pops up, check the Run as Administrator checkbox, press OK.
5. Press OK in the Properties window.
Do you have any firewall software? Are you playing from behind a router?

This is a little late, and might be irrelevant, but are you able to press the other buttons? There's a bug that comes about sometimes where clicking doesn't seem to work, and when it does, it often double clicks instead.

Yep, I can only press the main menu button.
