LANS - Iron Coalition, Adv. Exp vs. DevNull - Omicron, Adv. Exp, SY
Map: Limited Diamond
Setts: 1.0/1.15, everything else normal, SY ON
Game launches about 6v6, grows to 18v18 by the end. Dev had a stack in the middle, but it evened out by the end.

I push op high.
DevNull also pushes op high.
I build initial tele at home.
Order my team to attack miners and probe the map. Neither gets done to my satisfaction.
sajuuk_kaar volunteers to manage my miners.
I build exp and tele midlow-back, try to send an op low but its spotted.
DevNull builds op middle-midlow (ya know, the one in the centerline but midlow)
I send a tele to middle-back (geez, its hard to describe sectors on this map)
DevNull builds exp middle on his side (opposite where my tele is)
I rip the op to the tele, and push it midhigh.
DevNull's team camps low, and builds an op low.
Miner O rushes by both teams are unsuccesful.
DevNull gets Hvy Ints, I lost one miner while my heavy int money docks.
Both teams now have heavy ints, mini2.
Miner O on both sides continues to fail (I think somewhere in here we kill a miner, but it didn't matter too much)
DevNull gets stacked, I lose 3 miners. However, the living miner pays for HTTs and Exp. GAs.
Paradigm2 and Hyro get HTTs and set up high and low, respectively. Hyro gets spotted and camped against.
My high op gets capped while para is getting set up.
Yellow fails to cap my mid op a few times, and fails to cap my exp a few times.
Para is finally set up. Hyro goes low, dies. Para caps the high op.
I order my team to camp high. We out-whore them, camp and cap the high op.
Para rolls to and capstheir Garrison.
We again outwhore them in their home and cap their home (backup) exp.
Yellow sends some capships to their old home. We kill them.
We try to cap both their shipyard and other Exp, fail.
Meanwhile, yellow sends capitals to their old home and our exp at the same time. My team gets mixed up, and their old home dies while the cap at our exp rips out.
Yellow again sends capitals to our exp, and succeds as much of my team is stranded from defending our captured garrison and expansion.
My team gets lots of bombers out and camps in our home. I buy a new exp.
Yellow rolls in with caps. We kill some with bombers, but they succeed in killing our garrison.

It was a game marked by strong camping on both sides, careful HTT runs, and killing caps with heavy ints. We lost it and the end due to a mixup (I should have ordered my team to defend our old exp, not our new one. I paid for a new exp, and we used bombers to defend our home against caps. But there were too many caps for the AB1s to kill, and the garr died.


GG DevNull whoever you are. Again sometime?

Hmm, may explain it. When the comm who sat in base for most of the time has the most kills on his team, and his team was IC Exp, perhaps that's an indicator of why we lost.


Edit: Wait a sec. Dome isn't in that list anywhere. How does he have the stats?

I'm also really curious as to who DevNull actually is. Oh well, guess that's what hiders are for.

My mouse kept disconnecting on me so I ragequit.

Imma wait out on this game until I get some functional gear.

Well played by both sides and both comms. OH battleship is a beast.

This game and the next one (Ryj vs spidey's epic basic bbr runs) made my night.

Also, why do the stats only show ranks for blue players?

@xeniades: Its a bug somewhere. I'm not sure what the bug is, but I see lots of stats with wrong ranks. Its really not important.
