What Should Happen
This is a step-by-step listing of what should be happening when you try to play Allegiance. You can use these step numbers to indicate where a problem occurs in the posting template found below this list.
1.You click the "Allegiance" shortcut on your desktop, or in your Start menu
2.ASGS opens up, and awaits your callsign and password.
3.You type in your callsign (and squad @TAG if you have one) and password.
4.You click "Sign in"

5.Allegiance opens up
6.You click "Free Games" at the bottom
7.You see the Message Of The Day (MOTD) scrolling. AutoUpdates are performed if necessary.
8.You click the big wide "Current Games Listing" button below the MOTD.
9.You see the games lobby, which lists all of the available servers
10.You select your desired server, and click "Join Game"
11.You enter the game lobby on grey "Not On A Team" (NOAT) and see players chatting
12.You choose a team to join, and click "Join Team"
13.When the game has started, you enter the base screen and can begin play.
If this does not happen, then please post a New Topic in the Helpline forum.

I thought so. I had the same problem yesterday and I chalked it up to a bad server connection. I waited 15 mins and had to try 3 or 4 times, but then I got in.
I'd check you're firewall settings and check you're router and make sure you are launching asgs in Admin mode.

Just making sure, have you got internet explorer set to work in offline mode? If so then it needs to be in online mode for Allegiance to work.

MOTD appears, so IE can't be in offline mode.

Stupid raum posted screenshots... :P

Couple of ideas.
Did this computer have Norton or Mcafee Previously installed on it?
(Even when uninstalled these AV apps have been known to cause problems, and you would need to use a Removal tool from their website to remove any bits left over.)

Does your version of Avast come with a firewall included? Some of these pre-packaged firewalls cause problems too.

I suppose it could be something in your router blocking it, but best to look at the AVs/firewalls first.

Avast doesn't have a firewall built, I turned off/ and on windows firewall, set exceptions, uninstalled and reinstalled alleg 3 times. Built the computer from scratch so no mcafee or norton. I am using IE to type (don't lol) this so it isn't offline. I tried atleast 30 times over 3 hours still in same spot.

I have directx 11 could this be the issue?

I'm pretty sure that you can install DirectX9 along side of 11. We definitely need 9.
