There is a philosophy in Allegiance among teams that has greatly fallen out of the limelight where it belongs. This is the philosophy that changed me from an inferior player and commander to a GOD AMONG MERE MEN:

You are more likely to win by establishing and maintaining a superior economic and positional advantage over your enemy than you are by waiting for tech superiority to attempt to establish an economic and positional advantage.
