Hey folks, in two separate games today, my booster button would not work, not on my joystick or my keyboard.

The first game I was unable to use the booster after having been able to use... then, because I didnt want to drop out of the game at the time and because I was scout duty anyways... after a bit, my booster worked again.

The second game, my booster worked just fine until i destroyed a spec ref with fighter/galv, right after the ref died, my booster did not work again.

I have not changed the format of my keyboard or my joystick, and changed nothing at any of these times, so I am thinking it may be some sort of bug!

It is...I get sound issues that ramp up my volume and the fix is to change sound settings. I think it could be packet loss when the client/server are exchanging data for that item. (in you're case the booster). It may stay that way unless you reload the game. ( I think it may do damage to a .DLL)

I regularly suffer boost lock where I cant turn off the boster, or while docking using sidethrusters, they stay on while undocking
A quick Esc and "Controls" and "accept" fixes it, but it is annoying.

I get this too, but it usually is from me alt tabbing to check something else.

Only boost bug I get is if/when I burn up a rack of fuel at the same time as I go through an aleph, I don't have to wait for fuel to reload, I just continue boosting through another full rack of fuel.
other than that, when my boost doesn't work from alt tabbing or something, esc twice always fixing it.

I think I did turn down the volume, and it is funny over all the years I had never touched the actual game volume before till just the other day when I was listening to a lecture and playing at the same time. I have only had the problem in those two games and played a bit last night and did not have the problem again.

I know what you guys are talking about when you exit a base and on auto boost... that has happened to me here and there over the years, now I understand why!

For any one with boost locks and other key locks. Just press boost or key got locked. This bug occurs,
cause seems key release event doesn't resolve short time after docking.

there are changes in r6 that will possibly help this. Let us know if you can still dupe tomorrow.

seems still to be accur, but still less often.

I've also noticed that sometimes (usually after boosting through an alepth and finishing a tank shortly thereafter), that I will continue boosting without having to reload or burn any fuel. This can last anywhere from 3-10 seconds before I'm forced to reload as normal. Everything works like usual after that.

I'm not complaining about it (I find it quite helpful really ^^) but it is interesting.
