Hi,

All Allegiance is in English only and it stop many players that speak French.
If someone will be ok to give me all the game text on .doc, .txt or other file, I'll translate in French.
After, to a programmer of your team to compile and test.

There would still be the problem of communicating in game and since this is a team game...

I believe he's interested in translating the voice chats into French. That way when a command is issued they can at least read the order. (I, for one, am behind any attempt to get new people to read the chat. )

Providing all VCs refer to the same "root" command, this is a brilliant idea.

checkout quickchat.mdl in your artwork folder then you can replace the text, however it will only affect what text you see not what other people see.

In quickchat.mdl go down to where it says Sonic Chats then you can change any text in the " " marks i.e. "Head back to base" can be changed to "tête dos à base"

I do advise you save the original just in case you have messed it up somehow so bad that it affects the game.

Yep, but he just has to share the edited variant with whomever would like it.

If they leave the voice in english then it's a fun way to learn english

Translated versions of VC chat text does sound like a good idea

I'm guessing he meant more then just VC's though which would involve editing more stuff in the artwork folder, like the ship loadout screen, and maingame screen etc... which I doubt would work with ASGS.
