Yaknow. im sat at home chillin! listening to music. reading the foram.

If your always trying to increase the fun in Allegiance. eva thought of this:

When the finnal base in eny game is destroyed. that the game doesn't just finnish there! but carrys on? No base's! no hope what so eva of even buying 1! but who eva is out of base! and! not podded! stays alive! untill the oppossing force terminates EVERY remaining pilot!? or at least half! of that teams players.

Lets say blue has the map, yellow has a home gar only! and they are all on some retarded bombing session hitting the the blue teams 1 and only Supremacy.. blue goes for the kill on yellows garrison and blows it up! <------end of game!... but amagin it carried on? so yellow heads for the sup and kills it..yellow has no bases no hope in EVA building 1. but they have a bomber! and a handfull of nans. the rest that are podded on the yellows LOSSING team are automaticaly sent to the server screen! yellow carrys on to the enemys garrison. blue trys to defend. yellow takes the blue's 1 and only gar.. now only pilots remain! the last serviving pilot wins for the team! <------ So who eva can aim! wins for everyone!

just a random senario anyway. trying to help u amagine what i mean!!

Anyways ! BLAR!!

one of those random involentery thoughts we all have whilst trashed from excessive amounts of red win!.. lmao!
Anyway just an idea! u never know...

Peace Dibbs

Yes, please complete your thoughts before sharing.

This is basically a punishment on the team that won and would make the game much less fun. It would also make for scenarios like a lame ass who flies 20k off grid and sits to drag the game out.

Laced.

But how do you sort out people who will run away and transform the game into a crappy hide and seek thing. And the chances of the losing team turning the game around like that are minimal, I think that's why the game is as it is at the moment.

For issues and advantages with this idea, see Tremulous

Tremulous is analogous to alleg in that there is a base to defend, and you ahve to destroy the enemy team's base. Except that once you destroy the enemy team's base (so they can't respawn), you then need to hunt down the enemy to end the game. Its a "no one left alive" scenario. Notably, good coordinated teams tend to rally for one last rush after their base is destroyed, and quite often kill, or at least come close to killing the enemy base. What ends up happening in PUGs though is that idiot n00bs run around individually when their base is destroyed, generally taking a few minutes to die at the hand of the full-strength enemy while all the other players wait with nothing to do. This isn't much of a problem in trem because of the closed-small-map environment, but in alleg it would be a pain.

I can see issues with someone escaping in stealth tech and hiding.

We're not newbie-hating you Dibbley. It's just that the idea is halfassed.

It's a pain in the ass in Tremulous too. I load the next map when that happens.

Yup, I hate it too when it happens in Tremulous.

Also, in order to mercifully derail this topic, I wanted to call your attention to the fact that Allegiance is credited in the Urban Dictionary as the source of 'voob'
