haven't submitted it to alleg.maps@googlemail.com because i'm not sure if its good enough
(the alphs to home sectors on a different "ring" are low sig. Home bases should be in top and left sectors)

Is it just me, or is the crossed alephs annoying on maps?

Crossed alephs anoy some more than others. It's something that we advise is to be avoided if possible but there are some maps that can't be made without them.

Personally, they don't bother me at all.

yes yes some of the alphs cross i know, i tried my best make them look good regardless of this fact.
if you don't want to use the maps because there is some (unavoidable) alph crossings, then dont
were all grown ups here, its not like anyone going to cry about it.

A few maps I made. There are all fairly small and simple. I haven't emailed them because I want to know if they are ok.

S4Simple: Just a pretty straightforward go-getter but shaped like an S so it's awesome.

Boxy: The two home sectors are very far apart. Maybe too far apart.

Grid44: I know, no crossing alephs but I feel like this infraction is fairly minor and it makes all the teams border each other equally.

Binary: Based on a binary search tree.

3in1: It's got small boxes inside a big box.

binary could be decent if you had one or more connections in the middle. probably linking the 2 middle or possibly some diagonal action

From the makers of Binary comes Trinary:

Layout 1:

Layout 2 (pardon the sloppiness):

Connecting the middle sectors could work as could connecting them in Trinary.

I really really am trying to get over my allegiance apathy to do this.
