Join us TODAY to test the R6 client!
Today, April 21st, we will be holding the first major test of R6. Please join us on the beta servers and help us test the new changes. For the uninitiated, we need your feedback on this release! If there is an issue with the new client, we need to know NOW, before we release it as the official build. Instructions for testing can be found below, if you would like to check out the new build before Wednesday.
Start with an up to date Allegiance install (you can play on the regular servers).In ASGS, select "Help > Update / Repair Critical Files".Now select "Allegiance > Beta Mode".Click "Login". The updater will run again, downloading the beta client. After the updater has finished, click "Login" again.Enjoy the beta! Find or create a new game and test away!
When you are done, there are a couple steps to get back on the regular servers.
Turn off beta mode "Allegiance > Beta Mode".Revert to the regular client "Help > Update / Repair Critical Files"Play as normal!

(This beta test will be optional, to work out any kinks with the testing process. We will have at least one mandatory test before the official release.)
