Guys, I followed the directions to set up a LAN game, but it says
"ERROR"
The Server threw an exception.

I am about to try again but this time with the R4 files instead of the R5 files.
EDIT: I tried the R4 files, but then every time I tried to launch the Server, it said that its side-by-side configuration was incorrect...
Also, when I tried putting the R5 files OVER the R4 files, it said the Server threw an exception again.

Nothing to do with maps, that's a the devs made setting up a LAN server annoyingly difficult problem.

So all my problems are going to be related to setting up the LAN server and getting my core to work error free. Thanks for the info IB.

Point your artwork folder to your main Allegiance artwork folder and put your map and core in there. That is where all the text files you create also go.

Alright, I have an idea. If you give me the core and map I can write up specific instructions on how to setup a LAN server for your purposes.

Just upload it somewhere like Mediafire or summat.....

There are other places which offer free file hosting.....

Dunno. I created a mediafire account ayear ago, and all the stuff I put there is still there. Not costed me a penny.
