As of today, a bastion of Allegiance's history, the Allegiance Academy, closes activity for good.

Here's to Jell, Noir, BlackViper and all the other people who hosted and provided content for the academy for generously working countless hours on the website that has long become the reference point for excellence of the Allegiance pilot of all ages and skills. :salute:

_______________

One of the many side effects is that those who were wearing the wings from the Academy and didn't change them to the respective Wiki link when I warned them will be proudly wearing a broken link very soon. Click here for the new links.

Thanks BV for the hard work. I personally found the academy invaluable when I started playing.

Hopefully the wiki will continue the good work by creating a fine introduction to our little game.

It will be missed. Nice work BV.

EDIT: Woops. Didn't see link breakage mentioned in the first post.

Also in the wiki there are still a few links to the academy that make a nice little loop now.

Anyways,

To the wik-mobile quick!

Don't forget Jell, Noir (I think) and all the other people who hosted and provided content for the academy. BV was the last in a long line of individuals who gave so much back to this community. thanks to you all, wherever you may be!

The old academy information has been moved to the wiki so that it can easier be kept up to date along with other reasons. The old academy has been removed (I believe) to reduce confusion about information sources, and because it would be a headache to keep both up to date (and also to stop people using vet sigs).

Any plans to update the installer to provide a linkt o the wiki instead of the academy? Apologies if this has been done ages ago... It has been a while since I did a clean install.

I've already bumped the thread in Admin Requests about it. :)

However, the installer is Pook's domain.
