Have you tried to connect with Allegiance?
Apparently AVG 8.0 works with Allegiance on Windows XP (I can't say for sure about Vista or Win 7). AVG 8.5 apparently does NOT (but that may be restricted to Vista).

I am going to try uninstalling avg 8.5, but if it still doesnt work, I can switch to my old computer, because it did work on that one.

I was just online and he tried to create a game, but it didn't look like he was able to join it. Typical behaviour of an av/firewall block.

Yea, after I failed to connect, I wanted to see if I would be able to even make a game.

If you tell us what operating system you are using we can help you.
Or you can use Avira antivirus which we know to work on both XP and Vista.
