I dislike most of the stuff that's been added to Allegiance since the MS days. The majority seems to be needless cheese that dumbs down the game.

I have to admit that I do like figbees quite a bit though. It's an exiting way to end games. They are fun to shoot down, and it's also fun trying to live long enough to bet your ABs off.

On the other hand they have silly features at the moment. Here's what I would do.

a) Either remove the turret, or turn it to a full sice AC. I favor the latter.

b) The tiny fuel amount is annoying. I suggest changing them to light-booster only, and giving them enough fuel for at least a 20 sec burn on the LB. Lower the basic speed, and adjust things so that the light booster gives speed 1.0 faction's figbee 100 - 110 mps boosted top speed.

In a regular TP2 drop attack you wouldn't want the AC, as it's even heavier than then mini AC, but with the above adjustments it could be possible to reg-bomb with 4+ turreted figbees. It could be worth a try.

The scale on FBs is increasing by 10% in CC_06.

The full-AC turret has also been suggested, although there wasn't any official decision on it. Right now we're just taking a "wait & see" approach as to how the scale change affects them. Sup is pretty well balanced at this point but I'm sure we'll end up looking at FBs again somewhere down the road.

Finally, both Mini-AC and full AC have a mass value of 1, so its not heavier. ;)

Brainstorming:
We could give figbees more fuel.
With the increase of fuel, we could make their ABs less powerful or even it out?
Just my 2 cents.

seconded

In addition, there's already been a proposed change to figbees which is going to be implemented. Please, wait until we see what effect the change has before suggesting additional changes >.<

We're drying to do this at least pseudo-scientifically.

Why is it the "in" thing to propose making a new weapon that is slightly nerfed because they dont want to think of something else?

We dont need new tech, we just need you to start thinking harder
