Known issue, unknown cause. Happens on some computers, not others. Unfortunately you just have to skip over that mission (and anymore if there happens to be another training mission that turns your ship). This issue is strictly limited to training missions when it moves your ship and will not happen at all when playing on live servers.

Hi and welcome to Allegiance.

There is a known issue with the training missions on *some* video cards/drivers. You can try the DX9 alpha build to see if that fixes the issue. That can be found here.

The training missions aren't something we focus a lot of our development efforts on. If the above doesn't work, don't worry about the training missions too much. They are pretty basic and give you a little "push start" but they really aren't going to help you a lot. Spending a bit of time on one of our Newbie Servers (if a game is going) will help a little more. Or you can always launch a solo game yourself to play around a bit, get your controlls configured, etc. and then join up on the main server. (Note, too, that most folks are willing to lend a hand, and are willing to give you an orientation of the basics by creating a side game. If you have a microphone, I strongly recommend getting and using Teamspeak. It is so much easier to ask questions and get answers via TeamSpeak than it is through the limited chat window in the game.)

I would recommend that you at least try joining a server/game in progress just to make sure that you can. You listed some firewall software that may be problematic for you to join (some folks have reported issues with Comodo, for instance). So you should at least test to make sure you can get into a game. If not, post back up here and we'll go through it with you.

Thanks.
About the firewall, I know it can be a pain in the ... sometimes. Used to it ;)
I will try to enter some Newbie servers see if that works.
