The question is simple. Do you think that these items should be used even when SHIPYARD IS OFF. Currently when shipyard is off you do not have access to these items.

If you vote YES you are indicating that you think an item should be accessed even when Shipyard is turned off.

If you have ANY questions about what your vote means feel free to pm myself or another member of the CC staff and we will answer your question to the best of our ability before you vote

I don't really get why any of these are linked to SY On flag.

Figbees and XRM needs numbers to use, a base being threatened by a lone xrm bomber is laughable, same for a figbee or 2. Turning tp2 off with SY Off might make more sense, but I don't want to do that.

i think the reason why it was tied to the sy flag was because noir wanted people to be able to switch back to "classic allegiance" when he introduced all that tech into dn in the first place.

Retroboost was removed from the SY flag requirement in cc05 I believe.

NG missiles are still tied to it though, yes. So is Crs Booster but thats pretty much packaged with FBs anyhow.

Actually I use to talk to Noir alot back then and it was something along the lines of a small game switch, he wanted to disable tech that would be too powerful in small games or something. Also Quad Nuke Omnis.

I find it odd that if you want to remove SY from small games because you considerer caps overpowered, you end up removing XRM/FBS as well which are usually balanced in smaller ones. Then, if you want to remove FBs/XRM in a large game, you end up losing SY, which is far from overpowered.

I voted yes, but I'd still like the SY switch to be more than a cheese tech removal button.
