I know there are also alot of "Failed to connect to the server" posts but i think mine is different.
Windows Version (and Service Packs): Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
Processor Speed: 2.26 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
Video Card (Make and Model#): GeForce 9600M GS 512MB
Sound Card (Make and Model#): Integrated (I think)
Connection Type (Dialup, Cable, DSL, other): Cable
Modem (Make and Model#): Motorola Surfboard SB5101
Router (Make and Model#): None
Internet Service Provider(company name): Optus
Location(State/Province/Locality, and Country): NSW, Australia
Installed Mods: None
Make and Version of firewall: Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2009 Version 17.1.1250
Make and version of anti-virus: R7Trend Micro Internet Security Pro 2009 (I don't know what version)
Confirm that you have the following installed:
.Net 2.0 [YES]
Problem Encountered at Step #: When connecting to a game, it displays the error "Failed to connect to the server", which i am guessing means it cannot connect
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): Allegiance
What Error Message: "Failed to connect to the server"
Comments (What you tried, description, etc): I have tried disabling anti-virus, Disabling Firewall and running on compatibility mode (Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
I also put "Run this program as an administrator". I also enabled "Disable visual themes, Disable desktop composition and disable display scaling on high DPI settings because fullscreen will not work if i dont do that.

I am obviously not exprienced with computers because my info about hardware isnt that clear and the things i tried are really basic lol
