Something to do with letting people use google site search and help people find us.
I'm wondering how an account was given to the google bot too.

Bots can access the news forum and blogs, that's all.
It's no seperate account and IMO it has nothing to do with google sire search.
FAO "google site search":

I'm pretty sure accessing it with your phone isn't why google.com is here, infact im guessing this
guest started appearing after a certain change of forumhosts.
Also i'm sure other people have accessed these forums on thier phones like Zapper (not sure, but wouldn't be suprised

There is only access if your phne contain a browser app. otherwise.. it sucks and only the lofi version can be accessed within decent respons time.
PS: Spidey is a casual user from a phone... I got a IT job so i have access to the IN all the time.
