With Cadet I and ACS (public) now being on the wiki, and the rest of the Academy to soon follow it, I thought it was high time the main page got an Extreme Makeover.

This is what I've put together, what do you think.

+Edit: pic

It has all the links the current main page has, except:
*Known bugs
*Wiki mods
*Wiki user list
*Did you know...

Instead it has gained links to:
*Cadet I
*Academy
*ACS
*Individuals
*Installation guide

ps. I'm not going to reinvent the wheel, but I'll probably change the colours so it's not so damn obvious where I got the wiki code.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Any way to make the boxes line up?

Yes. Are they not lined up on your screen? They're only out by a pixel or two on mine.

Yeh, they line up on the left, but the bottom boxes are out by a few pixels on the right.

Eh that's odd. Nothing should be pushing them left-right.

Anyway, I'll change it so each box is in a cell.

I like it. Coupla points though:

1) Squadrons is a word used by 1 out of 10 squads. Just call that section Squads.

2) I'd like a link to the Zones in the community section. Do we even have a page like that?

Zones

Events Zone - awesomeness see this stuff

Docs Zone - run by a blithering idiot

and so on with links to the respective zone pages.

Doesn't matter, the page should be the same on all browsers. If it isn't, the problem is on our end.

I like the new page for the most part. Links & layout are both awesome. There's one thing I can't quite put my finger on though.... once I figure it out I'll tell ya. Something to do with the colors :P

@Rav, yes, use Squads instead of Squadrons. About the Zones section, meh. I could go either way with it... don't really see a need though.

Depends on how you want people to navigate the Wiki I guess. I prefer to click through so I'd set up a structure to allow you to do that.
