Yeah, there's actually a lot this stuff on our art repository with the source code. There is a hud and f6 templates (format different than what we use today) with the same theme, as well as a title screen:

I had never seen that hangar screen though, and it really ties everything together. The colors would probably help tie into a slipstream-esque GUI.

Holy crap, why wasn't that ever implemented?! That's a much better interface, if the "Description" was replaced by a chat box or something.
