I am saddened by the amounts of players that come here doing the same silly errors over and over, so I PM them and try to help them out.

I am angered by the amount of those who react by becoming stubborn and willingfully repeat the error ever since.

A common misspelling of the word "turret," usually made by people with a fourth-grade education.

Well, a lot of noobs sometimes say "turrents" instead of "turrets". Those are the ones badp's talking about.

Or when some yell out "need turrets" and some will go "You want to swear a lot?". I had a better one but chrome kept saying i failed to spell anything correct. (I even spelt spelt wrong...)

could make asgs autoban anyone who says "turrents" (maybe only for a week until they get the idea?)

This is especially ridiculous since the need turret gunners VC is so accessible.
I find it difficult to understand why people choose to type when the VC is that convenient.
Two keystrokes and you only need to memorize the first one !

New player comes saying "Turrent" and then later stops and learns the correct spelling... hmm... -thinks-

I think they just don't know what a turret is and have never seen/heard of the word. The most familiar word that looks kind of similar pops in the mind of the uneducated: torrent.
