Allegiance was originally built with all techs costing 5k. It was awfull for sup and noir fixed it by reducing the cost of most sup related tech by the half. I think that the least interesting GAs should cost less. I'm not going to suggest things yet, I'm just wondering if this is something that could be popular.

Or just buff them. Or integrate them into other, useful GAs. But yeah.

Speaking of GAs, why were the He3 GAs moved from SY to EXP anyway? It makes sense to have them in the most expensive techpath imo.

Unless you're speaking of a very early beta version of allegiance(That I haven't played), the he3 upgrades have always been on exp. I know that a core put them in SY, but I don't remember which one it was.
Buffing could work as well, but it just make no sense to have all GAs at the same price for the same impact on their attributes(Because some are just mroe usefull).
The He3 GA thread made me think about this, and this made me remember that the problem was wider.

I like this one. Though I think I'd rather see some gas moved to other techpaths first.

The only GA that isn't useful is He3 Speed though, everything else has a use.

half price for sup is a bad choice in my opinion. I increased the price of exp/tac tech in GoD II to influence the balance, but keeping the importance of mining. Of course the GAs were affected as well. (shameless GoDII plug)
