Because making topics about Belters is in fashion and it seems my suggestion in the other Belters-topic wasn't really recognized I make a new one.
Please let Belters lose TP2 if they lose their AdvSup and/or Starbase - basis of discussion here
They lose HTTs with Exp, SBs with Tac but can keep one of the most powerful game ending tech if they lose Sup - that's not the way it was intended in my opinion.
This problem gets even more annoying since Hvy Scouts aren't tied to the Starbase.
With their cheap techbases Belters can survive quite long and perfectly sneaky TP2 you to the end with their powerful bombers (keeping the stronger abs also) even if they don't have a Starbase and AdvSup anymore - an unbalanced fact I think

Hell, they can just steal tp2 and start using it! No Sup needed at all. I love Belters but that is cheese and 1/2.

I'm pretty sure all factions keep tp1 regardless of starbase death or not. But it does make sense to not allow belts to keep tp2 if thier sup dies.
But common misconception is that belts lose advanced tech when they lose adv techbase. Not actually true, they lose advanced ships but they still keep adv tech. If you have belts rainbow tech and get omni fighters and galvs, even if you lose sup you can still get galvs on omni figs making belts a pretty hardy faction (does require an adv techbase to keep the omnis).
So really it actually looks like keeping tp2 sticks with the belters way of keeping adv tech, not adv ships. Yes belters can tp2 xrm even if thier sup dies as long as they have already bought hvy bombers and xrm.
