Damn, IC vs Rix and I wasn't there?! Hopefully it was Exp vs Exp, not Tac or any of that bull@#(!.

Yeah, it was exp v exp. There was tac in there too, and sup to spark a comeback with galvs, but it was exp v exp.

Idan vs Strike?
I thought we had Rix beaten with our heavy ints while they couldn't even defend a single miner when I left. How did it end?

IC won the game at the 1:30 mark when I gave up trying to solo miners vs heavy d seeing no one would help. It gave them galvs and took rix off the map, then it was finally ended at the 3:20 mark with 6/7 cruisers.

Poor IB, will no one ever understand the MAJESTY of Rix Hvy Ints?

I'd take an IC Heavy over a Rix one anyday. That was such a great game though for IC. Rix pretty much had map control but our forward tele meant we were still mining away, we had some damn good miner D and the miner O was fantastic, striking deep into Rix sectors and paying homage to the style of ints rushing 2-3 sectors to kill miners and escaping.
Rix did dominate the map but the good IC miner offensive meant that there was a lot of He3 left untouched as Rix could barely mine past thier home sector. The miner D from IC though faced incredibily tough odds, waves of Rix Ints being thwarted by the brave scouts nanning away and sharpshooting int pilots while the IC miner O orchestrated beautiful set pieces of ints killing the nans and distracting the D while sfs finish the miner off.
Right at the start it was hard to tell who would win as pretty early on both sides lost lots of miners and Rix did dominate the map, they were unlucky not to be able to get a miner to the middle sectors to mine safely (Map was Star btw). Was weird that the PK stack couldn't organise a decent miner offense

Oh @#(!, please do not make me get into a debate about the superiority of Rix Hvy Ints.
Okay I'll say this. In a 1v1, assuming equal pilots (in this case me) and tech, Rix will always beat IC. In other general combat situations, IC might have the advantage over Rix by having:
1. Better hull
2. Better accel
3. More fuel (?, I don't have ICE so I can't check)
4. More ammo
However in 1v1 combat Rix will always overcome IC due to superior range and damage, as well as tighter gunmounts.

Unless you're smart as an IC int pilot to thrust up and down (Thrusting up and down towards the Rix Hvy Int...) while the crappy Rix vertical makes it difficult to keep adjusting either up and down or turning your ship around to then move horizontally...

Actually SS, with the speed you are so close the rix can rotate and keep you in their cross-hairs just fine with a half OK pilot, let alone a good INT whore.
