Download the new client and replace the Allegiance.exe in your beta folder. DO NOT replace your regular Allegiance.exe***If the new client does not run you may need the VC9 dlls (msvcr90.dll, etc). Try running the client directly. You can the libs from Microsoft

If you get a message like "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect." you need to get the libs.If you have connected to the beta server before just launch ASGS (via Allegiance Online), goto to the Allegiance tab, check Beta Mode. Now login. Check the motd (message of the day). Check the version of your client <esc> menu. Make sure it is the version listed above.If you have not connected to the beta server before you will need to set up the beta registry keys. There are a few installers floating around.

*Please note R4 (and most earlier R5) clients will not connect (or if they connect to the lobby they won't connect to the server), neither will older versions of the server.
**You will need a version of the client that is the same or HIGHER version than the server.
***If you do not have a beta folder you can try Madpeople's beta switcher. If you mess up here you can fix things by using Update / Repair Critical Files under Help in ASGS. IF you were using the Alpha graphics client you will need to re-download it (or back it up and then copy it back into place). I recommend MAKING A COPY of your existing Allegiance.exe before trying beta mode. It will save you time when going back to 'regular' alleg, just copy it back into place.

Uploaded the client (09.06.25). I also added release 3 and 4 of the Community Core.
You will likely need to repair/update critical files to get the new client. Check the <Esc> menu to make sure you have the latest client.
If your client crashes on joining a game or on launch get the Artwork .zip in the first post and unzip it in artwork/dev

New client and server up. If you were running the old server you have to get the new one as the new client will not connect to the old server (old as in two weeks ago).
We used Vis Studio 2008 for this build so you may need the vc9 dlls (see the first post). R4 and R5 alpha use the vc8 dlls.

Memory leak fixes
The current client is compiled to assume a P4 (SSE2) or higher chip so if it does not run at all let us know. I am not sure if there are any Alleg users out there running rigs that old (with old PIIIs or AMDs).
