I'm trying to upload an image smaller than 100 X 100. It fits the requirements but every time I upload the link it gives me a message saying:

"The link you uploaded is incorrectly formatted or the link is invalid."

I've uploaded several pictures of correct formatting and size and it still gives me this message.

Any suggestions? Is this something I have to pay for to use?

While I am at it I might as well state another error I've been having.

I'm trying to change my personal picture. I check the box for "delete picture" and submit my changes. The picture gets removed without any issues so far. I then try to upload another picture. It meets all the requirements. I look and the picture has uploaded correctly. When I click into my profile again I see the picture that used to be there in place of the picture I just uploaded. Other people have seen this happening on my profile to.

Why is this happening? I'm not good at all this technical stuff, as I've expressed before. How can I fix this?

Only supporters are allowed to upload files to freeallegiance.org for avatar hosting.

Everyone else must link to an avatar already on the internet.

For your case, upload your image to another webpage or image hosting service. Then here at freeallegiance.org, link to that image by typing the fully-qualified link (such as http://www.yoursite.com/youravatar.jpg)

look up imageshack or photobucket

after uploading choose the link which says direct link to image (the last one on imageshack, don't know photobucket)

Nothing stops you from uploading a forum "photo" and using that one as your avatar, though. /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />
