This may be old news for some, but a formal announcement is in order.
I get a sense of satisfaction when I think about how far we've brought the ACS program. Those of you who are familiar with previous incarnations of ACS realize the accomplishment that running ACS for one year signifies. Previous incarnations faltered after several months. We owe a lot of the success of this new program to Shiz, who got the ball rolling last year by involving several squads in a complete rewrite of the material. When he handed the program off to me, I lent what skills I have to finishing the rewrite and getting the program up and running.
Now, after a year and four sessions, I'm confident that I've done what I can for the program. It's time for me to hand the program off to someone else. So I got spideycw drunk, and then convinced him to take on ACS. I'm confident that he is the person to run ACS into the future. I'm still involved in the program as a general helper for spidey, but all future requests regarding the program should be directed to him.
Please, let's congratulate spidey (after he sobers up). If he lavish enough praise on him, he'll probably stick with the program.
