We can use a stripped out version of DN as the base yes.

Of course my vote would be for DN, it being the most popular core and the core that I like the most. But...

aslong as nothing in the core is DN, I dont see how he can have a problem, which would most likely mean, bye bye nix. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Anyway enough questions about that, just vote and we will sort something out.

My feelings are mixed. I feel like having 8 or so factions is very nice in order to keep faction matchups from getting boring- my voobdom was during the period where every single game was GT vs Dreg, and GT always won. It sucked, and having more factions helps prevent that. These days all the factions see play, and that is very nice.

On the other hand, having more factions makes it more difficult to balance those factions, and imbalanced factions are even worse than too few factions.

So I suppose my answer is- ask Noir for permission beforehand. If he says bang away, start with DN 4.5 and strip Nix. Otherwise start with GoD or PC2, but head in a DN-like direction to begin with.

Also, how should we get more involved in the Community Core? I think this is a great idea and exactly a week from Friday I will suddenly have all the free time in the world.
