Well done lads. I'll try to add you on to my mental "commanders to fly for" board. Now if I weren't such a scatter brain...

It was a blast, thanks everyone. I was ACS_Com_06 for the start of the session.

My record for ACS: 17 wins, 18 losses. My overall record: 58 wins, 74 losses.

People I won against: Evincar, americano, Drizzo, kpp, Adaven, SOB_Larry, Buyo, xPhoenix, duckiepie, Cronodroid, Andon, Drizzo, FIZ, RadarRider, fufi, Blake420, Cable.

People I lost against: Typhoone , ACS_Com_01, Cronodroid, Guitarism, Drizzo, Paradigm, Voob_of_Doom, Nug_Diggum, Firestorm, aarmstrong, WileyCoyote, Cronodroid, Stupendous_M, Idanmel, Broodwich, spideycw, fufi, Drizzo.

I commanded SRM vs ACE and won, which was fun. I lost to aarm, spidey and Fufi all in a row. I went 2-2 against Drizzo, a contest which will have to be resolved /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I had some great backseat help, and I developed QDY's Rules for Commanding Allegiance:

QUOTE 1) Never blame the stack during or after the game. You have as much control over the stack as anyone. When you blame the stack your are telling your team, "You are not as good as them", a defeatist mentality which will not serve you well. It also tells anyone thinking of joining, "here be pain".
2) Never tell your team they suck, at any point. Similar to rule #1. However with the addition of that you are directly insulting the few players who are busting their butts for you. You want those few to come back next time you comm. If you are a command superstar, you might have top-notch players lining up to stack you, but few have that benefit. Stay positive and tell your team how they can redeem themselves.
3) Don't let anyone violate #1 or #2 on your behalf. Stand by your team.
4) Don't command again after a bad loss. Especially not if you've broken rules #1 or #2 in the previous game. Even in late-night, you should offer up the chair.
5) Be a good boss. `ym often. Identify the ones who do the dirty work. Offer them perks.[/quote]

I won't be commanding as much with my new schedule. But I'll be around /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

L1ngus has the right of it. I THOUGHT I had a good solid basic knowledge of alleg . . until I started ACS. Now, not only am I not a completely clueless comm (disregard today's lunch game . ouch), I am a MUCH better player.

If you are thinking about taking ACS, do it. The amount of material in ACS is amazing and the instructors are like gods. You just THINK you have situational awareness until the instructors start critiquing your after game writeups and then when they fly FOR you . . holy @#(!!:) They are awesome and want you to be awesome. Can't get better than that.
