I need to refresh my memory.

How do Locals work again? How is a Local different from a Def bit? What would happen if I gave a weapon or item a Local? Do Locals allow me to limit the weapons you can have when you launch from certain stations? (How to Locals work and what are it’s uses?)

Locals, as far as I know, only have an effect on a base.

A local will only unlock stuff for a player who is in the loadout screen(ships and weapons) of the station that has the local.

A local won't unlock any devels and won't have any effect outside the station it is on.

Example: You add a pre(call it number X) on ints. You put X as a local for Expansions bases(nowhere else). Result: You can only launch ints at expansions.

So, if I add Pre X to a weapon like mini 3 or an item like fuel and then add X as a local for Ops, then I would only be able to equip launch with mini 3 and fuel when I'm in an op?
