Is it possible to make these models with a CAD like program called Pro-E. Its normally used to design parts and prototypes, but if it were possible to convert the files somehow, I would be more then willing to lend a hand.

Um. See what that program can save (or Export) files to. If it can export to the file types of commonly-used 3D modeling programs, then they'll most likely be fine. Also you can look for plugins; a lot of programs, you can download plugins for so you can export to even more file types.

I checked the demo and made Google searches; .prt files (Pro-E files) have no known conversion. Also i think Pro-E only exports .prt's.
Edit:
On the other side... seems weird that Pro-E files can“t be converted to another file.
....
*deep search google*

My learnings tell me that you should be able to, at least, export to obj.
